Have you started your Affiliate Marketing Blog? If not…WHY?
What is an Affiliate Marketing Blog anyway? An affiliate marketing blog is a blog that you create either on your website or create a new blog site in which you blog about your affiliate marketing!
Now, this can actually be done in a couple different ways. First, you can actually blog about the steps you are taking with your affiliate marketing business, the hurdles you have had to overcome and the success you have had with affiliate marketing. This will actually help you in your affiliate marketing journey and give you a record of what you have accomplished and what you may need to work on.
The other type of blog you can do is actually to post articles that you write for your product to have them in more than one place. Although, if you are going to do this, I would recommend rewriting the articles first before you post them on your blog as you do not want to have duplicate content out on the web.
So….which one is the best way to go?? Well, the answer to this depends on what you want to accomplish. If you are looking to share your experiences and hopefully help others, then blogging about your journey is the way for you to go.
However, if you are looking to use the blog as part of your affiliate marketing campaign, then you will want to use it for your articles.
Of course, you can create two different blogs if you would like to accomplish both.
Personally, I am currently keeping a blog of my affiliate marketing journey within my Wealthy Affiliate membership as they have one built in for this purpose. One nice thing about this is that if you want to post the link of one of your blog posts in an article, you can do so. This is great if you want to let people see what you have been blogging about within the membership.
I am actually getting ready to start another blog as well (this week) that is going to hold my rewritten articles and is going to be part of my affiliate marketing campaign. Another cool thing is I can also set this blog up within my Wealthy Affiliate membership because they have WordPress installed for easy setup!
As you can see, an Affiliate Marketing Blog is very beneficial in many ways and having one is really essential in your affiliate marketing career. Whether it be for personal reasons or for your campaign, affiliate marketing blogs are necessary.
